NY NG Service Medal Empty NY NG Service Medal

Interesting NY service medal with two bars, one for TEN YEARS service and the other 'WORLD WAR' for service during WW1. I didn't include this with the other NY WW1 victory medals as this is not a victory medal but rather a service medal for service in the National Guard. I don't know the time period that this medal covers but I think it spans from the early 1900's up to the 1930's. If anyone can shed some more light on this medal please feel free to include that information to the post.
