State Service During World War. This medal is commonly referred to as The Aquaduct Guard Service Medal. It was awarded to individuals on orders for 30 days or greater guarding public property. (State Medals for War Service, Doug Boyce).

Medal of Honor for World War Service. This medal was available to any citizen who volunteered for service in the war with Germany.
